1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the WAQOV API ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

WAQOV provides a REST API for accessing Dubai real estate data, including property transactions, rental contracts, building information, broker directories, and AI-powered market analytics.

3. Account & API Keys

• You must register for an API key to access the Service.
• You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential.
• You must not share, resell, or expose your API key to third parties.
• Each API key is tied to a specific plan with defined rate limits and quotas.

4. Plans & Rate Limits

Exceeding your plan's rate limits will result in HTTP 429 responses. Persistent abuse may result in account suspension.

5. Acceptable Use

You may use the Service for:

• Real estate research and analysis
• Property valuation and investment decisions
• Market research and reporting
• Application development using our API

You may NOT:

• Use the API to reconstruct, mirror, or create a competing database
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data beyond your plan limits
• Resell raw API data without written permission
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to bypass rate limits or authentication

6. Payments & Billing

• Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually as selected at signup.
• All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Intellectual Property

WAQOV owns all intellectual property in its software, API, analytics, AI-generated reports, and documentation. Data from Dubai Land Department remains attributed to DLD. See our [Data Attribution](/data-license) page.

AI-generated content (market reports, property analysis, rent-vs-buy) is for informational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, or legal advice. See our [AI Disclaimer](/ai-disclaimer).

9. Data Disclaimer

Property data is sourced from Dubai Land Department records. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee completeness or correctness. Users should verify data independently.

10. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no warranties or guarantees regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or timeliness of any data, analysis, or AI-generated content. Data may be subject to processing delays, corrections, or revisions by the original data provider. Use at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

WAQOV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your API key will be deactivated.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
